Traditional Ayahuasca retreats
For the most authentic Ayahuasca experience you’ll want to head to a retreat in the Amazon, the native lands of the Ayahuasca root. These retreats take place in Brazil, Peru and Bolivia and are led by local shamans who have had a relationship with Mother Ayahuasca for many years. Traditional Ayahuasca retreats involve cleansing, drumming and shamanic journeying and are sure to lead you on a path of spiritual depth and enlightenment.
Group Ayahuasca retreats
If you don’t have the opportunity to venture to South America for a traditional Ayahuasca retreat, you may instead like to join a group Ayahuasca retreat closer to home, with sacred spaces having been created in the US, UK, France and the Netherlands to name a few. These retreats take the main principles of a traditional Ayahuasca experience and blend it with a Western retreat space to enable even more people to encounter the healing hands of Mother Ayahuasca. Group Ayahuasca retreats tend to hold space for around 5-10 people at a time, ensuring each guest is held and cared for as they journey deep within.
Private Ayahuasca retreats
Psychedelic journeys can be quite a vulnerable experience and as such if you’re an introvert or feel you have some deep personal healing to undergo, you may prefer to opt for a private Ayahuasca retreat. While on the pricier end of things, these personalised retreats allow you to fully experience the power of the plant medicine, Ayahuasca, without the group dynamic of some of our other retreats. This may allow you to more deeply immerse yourself in the experience without worrying about interacting with others on their own Ayahuasca trips, perhaps leading to a more intense healing journey.
